Levantine Arabic teacher

Salam beloveds! My name is Dania - a Levantine soul born and raised in Palestine, with family roots in Jerusalem and Nablus. Languages are at the heart of who I am, and I am deeply inspired by learning through listening, dialogue, and shared experiences. Arabic, with all its depth and beauty, is my mother tongue.

I am also fluent in English and Italian, and I have working knowledge of Hebrew and French. I hold a BA in English Language and Literature with a minor in Translation, as well as a double master's in Human Rights and Global Studies. I have experience teaching both English and Arabic at language centres, as well as working as a private tutor with learners from different backgrounds and levels. In my teaching, I focus on creating an open space to help students build confidence, develop an ear for the language, and connect with Arabic as it is spoken, felt, and used in real life. It is key to understand your own learning needs and objectives as to co-create a learning plan that helps you flow naturally with the language, in an easy and creative way!

I teach both Modern Standard Arabic and Levantine Arabic. My approach is attentive and learner-centred, with an emphasis on listening, speaking, reading and writing as to build a natural feel for the language.
