I am a professional Arabic teacher for non-native speakers, a graduate where I pursue my master's degree in teaching Arabic as a foreign language at the American University in Cairo (AUC). Guess what, I am about to write my thesis. During my MA years, I worked as a teacher assistant and as a main teacher at AUC. Now, I teach different curriculums related to Modern Standard Arabic, Egyptian Arabic & Arabic media where I meet students from different countries and backgrounds.

I studied Egyptology in Cairo university, I was a tour guide for three years. I worked also as a librarian in a rare books & special collections library for several years. I love to read and learn languages, I learned German and Spanish and I can imagine how challenging and rewarding it is learning a new language. Being in several different positions, allows me to combine my passion for learning languages with education.

My teaching slogan is "There is no failure. Only feedback" that's why I follow the communicative approach where I encourage communicating and interacting in class time in order to provide the opportunity to practice Arabic in a context - real life situations and to motivate you expressing your thoughts easily in Arabic in a safe environment through providing the appropriate feedback. No matter what is your proficiency level, beginning from scratch, novice, intermediate or advanced, I create motivating and friendly educational environment to enhance the four skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing.

I can facilitate learning grammar and vocabulary through using various strategies and technological tools which can be applied to any language-learning environment to engage students. We will play games, do activities in class and learn more about the Arabic cultural aspects. Smiles and laughs are guaranteed :). I am looking forward to show you how easy thinking, reading, speaking and writing in Arabic.
