It is very easy to learn Afrikaans because by just listening to the words correctly would allow you to respond.the easiest way to learn it is to spend more time with someone who speaks Afrikaans and also read it Afrikaans is not difficult to learn it's very easy ..can't say how long it takes approximately but abit of Afrikaans every 2 to 3 hours a day will help.
