I am Asiphesona Mkhwanazi. I am an Isizulu speaker, hailing straight from Durban, KwaZulu Natal. I moved to Pretoria when I was 17 years old. I am a lover of languages at heart, and I love teaching people how to speak Isizulu and even how to improve! I grew up speaking Zulu with friends and family. I work at an Ed-Tech company as a marketing intern. I am your go-to guide to developing the most fluent and articulate Isizulu tongue. Whether you're Pedi, Sotho or Tswana, Isizulu is easy peasy to grasp.
Firstly, learning basic names of body parts and family structure is the best way to go about it. Pointing out certain objects, parts or people and remembering what they are, is a great way to go about it. I've taught many of my friends this way. Secondly, You can learn Zulu in Pretoria by hearing others speak the language. The best way is to watch more Zulu television shows while reading the subtitles to get a grasp of the language. Learning Zulu can take up to about 2 months to understand the basics (If you have no knowledge of the language) but if you are familiar with the language, it could take 1-2 weeks to grasp the basics.
Zulu is easy peasy, lemon squeezy!
