I'm a Nigerian in my mid 30's. A graduate of English and Literary Studies. I speak both Yoruba and English fluently. Yoruba is the langi spoken in the southwest of Nigeria. It's quite easy to learn. Just like the English language which has different pitch levels, so also the Yoruba language. It has what is called 'amin oke', 'amin isale'. The Yoruba language is a very interesting language. The Yoruba use 'òwē' which is a proverb to pass across deeper expressions. The easiest way to learn the Yoruba language is live among Yoruba-speaking people.
