Over 8 years, I have experienced teaching English and Vietnamese in Vietnam and Japan. There are many special cases of student (bad behavior, autism,...), but I can manage. My teaching approach is flexible and variable as I have taught children from 3-18 years old and adults. When you learn a new language, it will be challenging at first. But when you are able to think in that language and have sense of mistake (aware of making mistakes and self-correct), it means you are on the right track. There are many Vietnamese in Tokyo so you will have chance to practice speaking. Although I will teach in English/ Vietnamese and encourage my students to practice those languages as well, I can explain to you in Japanese the words that you may not understand
How much time does it take to learn Vietnamese in Tokyo?
It depends, but Vietnamese is not a hard to speak.
