My name is Hamdania. I’m a native Urdu speaker with a deep understanding of communication. So I can help you learn Urdu faster, easier, and a lot more fun than the usual learning ways. You'll be surprised how quickly you can Speak, understand, and read Urdu! ⚡ "book a trial lesson" or "Send a message" and let's work together!
have been teaching both online and face-to-face for a couple of years now. I have completed my O-Levels and A-Levels (accredited by Cambridge University) in Urdu and English, achieving A* grades in both. As a result, I am capable of teaching both languages to students at this level.
As a patient and approachable teacher, I provide the feedback necessary for students to improve their language fluency. I am open to discussing a wide range of topics including culture, travel, history, books, movies, food, clothing, and more. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know new people, and my teaching approach to Urdu is “student-centered". I prioritize flexibility in my approach to accommodate the unique needs and learning styles of each student. This ensures that my lessons are tailored to specific needs and abilities, allowing students to learn at their own pace and in a way that works best for them.
During our lessons, I focus on building your vocabulary, proper pronunciation, grammar, and conversational skills, which will help you gain confidence in speaking, writing, and reading Urdu. I am also happy to customize lessons based on any specific areas that need work.
As I have experience teaching Urdu to children and children have a considerably small attention span, the methodology that I use to teach my young students is with the help of animations, short stories, and video clips. And I love making a connection with my young peers as one of the methods I teach is by doing role plays with students, i.e., making them a parent and I become a child, and then we communicate in Urdu this is fun, and they learn and grasp from practices like these.
It may seem a lot, but trust me, it is not. Urdu for beginners is just learning about alphabets. Making basic sentences and practicing 20-25 minutes a day can make you understand and use the language as a beginner.
