Urdu is an easy language if you give an hour daily you will be able to read it in 6 to 8 months I have been teaching Urdu for the last three years to different students in the United Kingdom and Germany
The easiest way is to start with the Urdu single alphabets pronouncing and then joining it with two alphabets and slowly increasing the number of alphabets the Urdu language is not as difficult as other languages it's a mixture of different languages like Arabic and Persian it's simple and easy to learn just start learning and you will be able to read and write Urdu.
