I significant experience in teaching languages to students from age 8-20 years and adult learners. Before starting my Ph.D. here in Aotearoa, I have held different teaching positions starting from school and college to university. For me, language speaking is about identity and how we see ourselves and others in the world. Language teaching is, therefore, about understanding the learning goals of the students and helping them achieve their language learning goals.
