I have been a teacher for the past 10 years, and quite a significant part of it has been spent teaching the language.
Twi is the local dialect of the people of the Ashanti. The rich Ashanti culture and history are passed on to generations through spoken Twi language, so this has made the language rich in wisdom and traditions.
In my lessons, I do not only teach Twi as a language, but as a tool for understanding the culture of the Ashanti people and gleaning from the wisdom of the people of the Ashanti.
