Learn Turkish Through Conversation, Culture & Real Content

About Me & My Teaching Approach

Learning a new language is not only about grammar books: it’s about understanding the logic, culture, and feeling behind the language. I believe the best way to learn Turkish is through real conversation, shared interests, and cultural connection, rather than memorizing rules alone.

Although I do not have formal Turkish teaching experience yet, I bring strong training and mentoring experience from my previous role as a content moderator, where I was responsible for training newcomers as a tenured agent. I consistently received positive feedback for my clear explanations, patience, and supportive communication style. Teaching, guiding, and helping others understand complex topics has always been a natural part of my work.

I am also an active reader of novels and scientific books in both Turkish and English, which helps me explain the language not only technically but also contextually and naturally.

I strongly believe that language and culture cannot be separated. That’s why I like to integrate:

Turkish movies and TV series

Songs and lyrics

Books, stories, and daily expressions

Cultural habits and ways of thinking

Lessons should feel like a friendly conversation, not a classroom lecture. Feeling comfortable, making mistakes, and speaking freely are the keys to real progress. I aim to create a relaxed, motivating environment where learning Turkish feels natural and enjoyable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it difficult to learn Turkish in Tallinn?

For Estonian native speakers, Turkish is actually much easier than expected.

Both Turkish and Estonian are agglutinative languages, meaning grammar works by adding suffixes in a logical and consistent way.

Pronunciation is very straightforward — letters are pronounced the same way every time, just like in Estonian.

There are no grammatical genders, which makes sentence structure simpler.

Because of these similarities, Estonian students often understand Turkish grammar faster and feel more confident speaking early on.
