I have graduated in Business Adm. and holding Master's Degree on related subject. I have studied in U.S.. While I was living in New York, I have been giving Turkish lessons who were willing to learn the language. I had many students with all different backgrounds I think Turkish is not so complicated as long as you understand the basics. I think in 6 months you can be able to excel in Turkish. There is a Latin Alphabet which can be regarded as easier to learn. Plus, the logic is almost the same in sentence forming.
It can be much easier with private lessons and practices for sure. Since in Italy it is not common to see people speaking Turkish, it would be much easier to learn by practising 1 by 1. And getting to learn the language deeply in this way.
When you are able to learn the logics of it it would be much fun to practise. And etymologically you will surprise how many common fields there are between Turkish and some other languages.
