Merhaba! I am Berfin :) As a Turkish Language and Literature teacher, I am proud to have a Bachelor of Turkish Language Teaching from Turkey, as well as a certificate in teaching Turkish as a foreign language and permission to teach (PTT) from the Victorian Institute of Teaching. I have had the pleasure of teaching students from a variety of backgrounds and age groups over the past year in Melbourne.
I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, but it can also be a very rewarding experience. That's why I take a personalized approach to teaching and I adapt my lessons to fit my students' unique needs and goals. Whether you're looking to improve your conversation skills, gain a deeper understanding of Turkish culture and history, or prepare for a specific language exam, I am here to help you.

I honeslty highly recommend Berfin as your turkish tutor, She is extremely patient and supportive. She is very organised and teaches well. Just after having 3 sessions with berfin your will be able to speak basic turkish. She is also very nice and good to talk to.

Berfin is an excellent tutor. She offers many resources and presents a very deep understanding of the language. She has helped me understand so much in less than 2 months. Berfin has a very good teaching approach and has formed our lessons around what I have also wanted to learn. I am having a wonderful experience of learning Turkish with Berfin! Her in-depth knowledge of the language (and other Turkic languages) give her such a solid understanding of the grammar and syntax etc, there is no question I can ask that stumps her 😄 Berfin is warm, encouraging and funny, which makes her a lovely person to learn from and with. I am learning lots about Turkish culture through our lessons too. I really recommend her as a tutor.

I have been learning with Berfin for a few months now. She’s really sweet, smart and she explains very well. She also encourages me a lot because I’m shy but I feel comfortable with her. After a year of Turkish school my daughter couldn’t even say hello in Turkish. After 2 months with Berfin she can count to 100, knows her colours and can converse in basic Turkish with the family. I couldn’t recommend Berfin enough! She is bright, kind, patient and makes every lesson engaging and fun. If I could give her 10 stars I would!
