Turkish lessons from Turkish teacher

Hello, my name is Esra .I graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Turkish Language Teaching in 2017. I teach Turkish to both adults and children at all levels.. I have many years of teaching experience. I took some master’s courses at Gazi University, in the Department of Teaching Turkish to Turkish Children Abroad. In addition, I hold a certificate in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. I teach Turkish to both adults and children, at all levels.

At the beginning of my lessons, I usually do a placement test to understand the student’s level. Then I use fun topics and small exercises to make learning more engaging and easier to remember. Of course, books and homework are also important parts of my teaching materials.

I’ve worked with students of different ages and backgrounds, helping them improve their Turkish for daily life, travel, or academic purposes. My teaching style focuses on making lessons enjoyable and effective — I usually start with a placement test, then use fun topics, visuals, and small exercises to help students learn naturally and remember easily.

Many students ask: “Is Turkish difficult to learn?” My answer is: not at all — with regular practice and the right guidance, Turkish can be learned step by step. The easiest way is to start speaking from day one and use the language in real contexts.
