Hello, I have been living as an ex-pat for over 13 years and speaking English as a second language for over 22 years since graduated from an American University in Business Management.
My English language skills furthered the most through conversations. It was the fastest and the most fun way of learning a language for me. Turkish is not the easiest language to learn via textbooks, it is best to learn through conversations. Written language is more formal than speaking so worth considering what you are after...
Depends how much you already know and what you want to achieve. It’s always more helpful to learn speaking than written as it’s always needed to communicate.
Some say yes. It depends on your native language. It might be similar grammar rules as one’s native language so that could help.
