I’m a highly learned Swahili tutor with a master's in Swahili. I taught high school students Swahili for 9 years and they loved Swahili and scored highly.
Swahili being my native language, it’s very simple to learn because the sounds are so similar and pronounced directly as they are being written.
Swahili language does share some words with Arabic and Spanish which makes Swahili easier to know.
A committed learner who is being introduced to Swahili as their second language can take up to a period of 2 months to be fluent in speaking Swahili.
