Hello and welcome! I'm Lora, your enthusiastic online Swahili tutor with a passion for language and culture. Originally hailing from Kenya, I am proud to bring a piece of my vibrant culture to the classroom. My Kenyan heritage infuses my teaching with warmth, hospitality, and a deep sense of community. Outside of the classroom, you'll often find me immersed in the world of music, exploring new sounds and rhythms across various genres. I believe that music is a universal language that transcends boundaries and brings people together in meaningful ways.
One of my favorite pastimes is indulging in engaging conversations over lunch at a cozy restaurant. I cherish the opportunity to exchange ideas, stories, and laughter with others, fostering connections that enrich both mind and soul.
Having had the privilege of traveling to diverse destinations such as Paris, Frankfurt, Bangkok, India, South Africa, London, and Washington DC, I've developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of cultural diversity. Each journey has provided me with invaluable insights and experiences.
