I am a friendly and outgoing language teacher, teaching Spanish, Frecnh and English at all levels. My specialties include phonetics, pronunciation, and conversation. I am sure you will enjoy learning languages with me while gaining confidence and improving your language skills. Additionally, I have three months of experience teaching English and Spanish to children aged 5 to 7 in Suzhou, China. My teaching style is based on various exercises that include oral exercises, physical language, and visual cues. I also enjoyed including writing and reading exercises, but I firmly believe that cognitive exercises are the best way to learn languages.
Learning becomes easier if we have someone to practice with, especially if that person can teach new vocabulary. In Toronto, there is a vibrant Latin American community, which increases the chances of learning Spanish quickly.
No, it is not easy, especially for an English speaker. Spanish has many conjugation tenses and numerous grammar rules. Not to mention, each Latin American country has its own expressions and idioms. However, the writing is technically straightforward, pronunciation is less challenging, and Latin people are generally eager to help Spanish learners practice the language. In that sense, Spanish can be easier to learn due to the friendly nature of Latin people. The key is to find a native speaker with a neutral accent, such as someone from Mexico or Central America, because they pronounce words clearly and are easy to understand, like myself. My Spanish accent is easy to understand and clear, making it suitable for someone who is just starting to learn Spanish.
