Hola, hola! My name is Ana and I am a student from Alicante, Spain. I come from a wonderful beach city that has a lot to offer, including the language. If you have been there, lucky you! If you have not and do not know about it, let me tell you all you need to know. Traveling there is fantastic, but if you speak Spanish, it is even better! I just started my life here, in Stockholm, as an MSc student in KTH and I will be here for at least 2 years.
I love learning and that is why I am happy when I see others learning with me. I have been giving private lessons since I was 16 and I am convinced that, together, we can enjoy the beautiful Spanish culture and its language. I love my country. I love the way we use words to communicate how we feel, see and understand the world and I want to make it easy for you.
All languages might seem difficult when you start, but knowing how useful they are, makes the way easier. Spanish is used in more than 50 countries, so you can go far with it and discover almost every corner of the world. It is a powerful tool and I want to pass it over to you.
I have lived in different countries (Spain, the USA, Germany, Italy, and Sweden) so I also speak English (C1) and Italian (B2) and I can assure you that knowing the local language makes life much more beautiful. I am used not only to teach languages but also to speak different ones. I have been in your position many times already, and I have felt the frustration of the process at the beginning and the satisfaction when you see yourself learning as you wanted.

Next to a native speaker, sharing not only knowledge on the language itself but the culture of the countries where those languages are used. Once your level is advanced enough, I always recommend reading books that you might have an interest in.

How much time does it take to learn Spanish in Stockholm?

It depends on your previous background. Do you speak any other Latin language? Have you already learnt a bit of it? What's the level you would like to acquire? It all depends on the specific case, but I can adapt the level of the classes to each of you and motivate you through the process. I am convinced that a motivated student learns as fast as they want, just set the goal and we'll manage :)
