I’m a native Spanish speaker, an English Language and Literature graduate, and a qualified language teacher with over 7 years of teaching experience.

My teaching has an academic and language-focused foundation, but I don’t believe that learning a language should mean simply studying rules. My methodology combines linguistic understanding, structured practice, and meaningful communication, adapting each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and way of learning.

Rather than following a fixed formula, I look at how each student learns, where their difficulties actually come from, and what they need in order to progress. This allows me to work both on the technical side of Spanish — grammar, structure, vocabulary, and accuracy — and on the more subtle and intuitive aspects of communication, such as nuance, confidence, and finding the right way to express an idea.

I have taught adolescents and adults in academies, schools, and private lessons, and since 2023 I have also worked independently with students learning languages online, including Spanish for foreign learners.

My academic background and teaching experience have given me a strong understanding of how languages work and how people learn them. I have studied English and Spanish grammar and syntax, translation, language teaching, linguistics, and cultural studies.

Over the years, I have been able to put this knowledge into practice in different teaching settings and through my own teaching project. I believe that learning a language is not only about grammar and vocabulary, but also about understanding the culture behind it and being able to communicate naturally.

As a native Spanish speaker and a linguist, I approach Spanish from both sides: as a language I know intuitively, and as a system I understand and can explain. I can help students develop their learning in a clear and practical way, while also understanding how and why the language works.

I also like bringing literature, culture, music, and other real-world material into lessons. For me, learning Spanish is not just about accumulating vocabulary or completing exercises. It is about developing a more precise, natural, and confident way of expressing yourself.
