I am originally from the UK but immigrated to Spain when I was a child where I lived for 6 years! I came to Cape Town when I started high school and continued to take it as a subject. I have no formal teaching training but I have given private lessons before and have been a student of the language myself and so I know what is expected. While in Spain I lived in a completely Spanish town and went to a completely Spanish school, so I know more than anyone that the key to language lies in conversation! Spanish is special in that once you know how to speak it, it becomes very easy to write. Practice makes perfect!
