Hi, I am not able to write my complete name here so you can call me Lalo. I am 28 years old and I am studying a Master here in Brussels, Belgium. I was born in Mexico but have two nationalities: Mexican and Spanish. I am a Civil engineer with postgraduate studies in Transportation and Roadways and I am very passionate about languages. Since highschool I have been close to teaching associations, and I have been teaching not just Spanish as a language, but as a culture, with its own slangs and idiosyncrasy; also I have teached math, physics and engineering stuff. I love playing squash, food (of all countries) and traveling (I do love geography, history and to know the most of each country by visiting them and if possible, living in them). Spanish is my mother tongue but I also have a valid TOEFL iBT with a score of 113/120. Spanish is very easy to learn but mostly on an "informal" approach, not to forget some grammar, spelling and other rules but to try to make the learning experience a throughout discovery of the language itself as a part of a bigger thing, culture. So leaving the fear of talking, writing, listening and reading behind (maybe in that order) is the first and the easiest step to learn Spanish. The time on which one can learn Spanish surely varies from person to person, but mostly from how much one practices it, is not crazy to think someone can learn basic Spanish in few months. I am eager to know you and teach Spanish language in a fun, curious and complete way.
As I said, the easiest way to learn Spanish in Bruxelles and in the rest of the world is to practice it. So an "informal" approach, without forgetting some grammar, spelling and other rules, would make the learning experience easier and a continous discovery of the language itself as a part of a bigger thing, culture. So leaving the fear of talking, writing, listening and reading behind (maybe in that order) is the first and the easiest step to learn Spanish.
Yes, especially when practicing it and looking for the easiest way to learn it. The time on which one can learn Spanish surely varies from person to person, but mostly from how much one practices it, is not crazy to think someone can learn basic Spanish in few months.
