¡Hola! I am Manuel, and I am your next Spanish tutor... I am a friendly and talkative Argentinean with a PhD in Economics from KU Leuven, considerable teaching experience and one goal: helping you to boost your conversational Spanish skills. I can help you improve them in advance of trips and holidays, for business or leisure, with a program tailored just for you.

It's easy: because I love the language as much as I love helping people to speak it. For this reason, I have tutored lots of students of Spanish in the past. For many years, I organized very dynamic (and memorable ;D ) Spanish conversations tables in Leuven, and nowadays I run three Spanish book clubs (two of them in Antwerp). As a plus, I have pedagogic experience, having taught several courses in universities in Belgium, Spain and Argentina, both at Bachelor's and Master's levels.

Based on my experience, my approach is the following. First, we discuss your current level, goals, preferred format for our sessions and your interests in general. Next, we meet (physically or online) for easy-going conversation sessions where I will help you improve your grammar, sentence construction, vocabulary and clarity of expression. In advance of our meetings, I will prepare material touching upon the topics of your interest, to facilitate good convo.

A bit more about me? I am very open minded and easy going, and I love to explore new cultures and places—connecting with people and helping them to connect with each other. I have lived in four countries (Argentina, Canada, Spain and Belgium) and I have visited more than 30 others. I have a passion for music (especially classical and tango), history and the old art of conversation. I speak Spanish (of course), English, some Dutch and elementary Polish.
