Hola! My name is Begoña and I am a Spanish (from Spain) native speaker, teacher and writer. I started teaching as a side job while studying six years ago, and ever since then, I have had several students with different mother languages and purposes. In every case, it has been fascinating to accompany them on their journey of learning!
I, myself, have been embarked on learning different languages such as English, Russian and French, for my qualifications in languages provide me with a broad view of how languages are structured and interconnected and what it means to be on the other side, thus being the student.
My way to approach teaching is very dynamic and I adapt the program to my students' passions or interests in order to reach them better. Additionally, I see learning a language as a part of discovering a whole new world, so I try to present to my students the full picture of Hispanic culture with its heterogeneity and richness; a look into history, sports, literature, cinema, etc.
I strive to make my lessons interactive and fun, and I am practicality-oriented, it's not only about grammar for me but about enabling the person to successfully navigate different scenarios in Spanish.
