Why do "hola," "hablo," and "ahora" never have a sound in the letter "h"? And why is it correct to say "estudiante alto" or "estudiante alta," but not "chica alto" and "chica alta"? And the most important aspect of the Spanish language is... that the pronunciation you learn for each word will remain the same! You won't need to ask your Latino friends to pronounce it for you because you'll already know it. ;)
