I am passionate about people knowing our origin through the Shona language. Shona helps us preserve our culture and identity. I studied Shona at both Ordinary and Advanced levels. I got outstanding Awards in Shona when I was at the Advanced level. I was once employed with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education as a relief teacher from September 2013 to August 2014. I taught at both primary and secondary schools. Shona was among the languages I taught. It is an exciting, informative language when given the opportunity to learn it.
