I hold two degrees one it's a bachelor's degree in Political Science (University of Zimbabwe)and then a master's degree in Gender and Policy studies (Great Zimbabwe University).
I aslo passed Shona at my o level and A level respectively. I have had an opportunity of tutoring Shona lessons for Advanced level. Shona is not a difficult language to learn at any stage or age. You can even learn it online which makes it easy. At most to learn Shona basics you need a period of a week going forward and for one go be exceptionally well in Shona u need at least three months.
