In my point of view, I think that it is important to take risks and speak the language whenever you can. For beginners, I suggest reading children's books and comic books and consuming foreign language media. It is important to immerse yourself in the local culture and to make use of free foreign language podcasts and apps.
Is Serbian easy to learn?
Serbian is not entirely impossible to learn, and there are languages that are even more challenging for English speakers, like Arabic, Japanese, and Chinese. Its grammar rules are much much more complex add to that is the fact that you will need to learn a new alphabet. I think that it takes a lot of effort and hard work to learn it, but if the student is motivated and has a strong will to study, it is not impossible to be fluent in Serbian!
