I’m a third-year Bachelor of Education student at the University of Johannesburg, majoring in Sepedi and History. I tutor Sepedi (Grade 7–12) and History (Grade 10–11), and I create CAPS-aligned lessons and assessments. I’ve completed training in inclusive education, curriculum planning, and classroom management. Sepedi is easy to learn because it’s phonetic and has clear grammar. With daily practice, listening, and speaking, learners can grasp basic Sepedi in a few months. I make learning fun, practical, and culturally rich, helping students build confidence and fluency.
Immersive learning works best—listening to native speakers, practicing daily conversations, and using Sepedi in real-life contexts. I also recommend starting with common phrases and cultural expressions.
Not at all. Like any language, it requires dedication, but Sepedi’s structure and rhythm make it accessible, especially with a supportive tutor.
