Finally, I know the ways to handle the Russian grammar. I had difficulties to understand and connect the dots for several years. Alexandra is a very structured and pedagogical teacher. She uses effective pedagogical tools for teaching and explains grammatical rules very well. Most of our meetings have been online using Zoom, which has worked well. Lessons vary between reading and pronunciation to working with exercises and writing short stories and sentences. Alexandra constantly monitors my progress and lists together with me my strengths and weaknesses in the language. During class we also discuss everyday life, recent events, what’s new and sometimes discuss the weather. This is funny and usually ends up with learning new phrases and words. It helps a lot and improves my ability to speak more fluently. Even though we use a textbook we have also used a lot of other sources. Alexandra gives me texts, videos and other Russian material to read and discuss. This helps to understand Russian culture. I enjoy learning Russian from Alexandra a lot! I have previously taken classes at night school, but they were not nearly as fun as the lessons with Alexandra.
