Hi! My name is Anna. I'm in my final year at Tomsk State University, studying English and German, so I'm literally in your shoes - I know exactly how frustrating and exciting learning a language can be.
My teaching journey started with a bunch of five-year-olds, which was chaos and fun, and taught me that patience and a good sense of humor are the most important teaching tools. For the past year, I've been tutoring Russian online, and I've found I love breaking down the "scary" parts, like cases, into something that actually makes sense.
I won't lie to you, Russian has its tricky bits, but it's also quite logical and so rewarding when you start to get it. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident, to laugh at the mistakes (we all make them!), and to build a real understanding of the language, one step at a time.
If you're looking for a friendly guide instead of a strict lecturer, I might be the right fit. Let's learn together
it's a great place to learn quickly because you're fully immersed in the language. you'll practice daily in shops and on transport, which speeds up learning significantly. combine this with a local tutor for grammar, and you'll make fast progress.
at first it can be challenging since people speak fast, real Russian. however, locals are quiet supportive of learners. the difficulty is a rewarding one that leads to genuine fluency much faster than studying elsewhere
