My name is Maria and I'm 40. I'm originally from the industrial Russian town, Cherepovets. In this town there is a well-known steel plant, where expats from all over the world used to come. My teaching of Russian as a foreign language began exactly for them. After, I traveled to different countries and found students from there.
In 2010, I moved to Finland through my study and my teaching of the Russian language smoothly switched to online classes.

Now I still live in Finland and teach foreign languages in local language schools, online and university. With Russian I help everyone who needs it as a language in a family, as a hobby, or for work.

I like sports, tasty food and active entertainment. I also like playing the piano. So, if you want to improve your speaking skills, I'm here to join you:)

Also, I will promise to give the most positive atmosphere and the highest energy with my lessons!

My lesson always consists of a light warm-up on your favourite topic. Then we do exercises (one is on the past topic and the second is on the subject that needs to be repeated). In the lesson I speak a maximum of 10 minutes if I need to explain a new topic. At the end of the lesson, we have a rest - watch videos, sing or learn new words.

In my classes, I suggest:
- English as a support language
- individual teaching methods created by me ("Step by Step "/" Animation together")
- the newest online platforms (+online whiteboard)
- Practice of the language in different spheres: pronunciation, grammar, conversational topics, home and online reading, listening, writing
- various courses based on the most popular official textbooks' publications
For my classes you don't need to buy any extra books (!)
