Private Russian Tutor in City of London and Online
If you are looking into learning Russian or German from scratch, developing existing skills, or keeping your conversational level afloat, I am looking forward to working together.
I believe learning a language is a creative process and am looking forward to adjusting the lessons to my student's personal needs and learning journeys.
As per my background, I have been teaching and tutoring languages and basic Maths for many years in different settings. My experience ranges from one-on-one lessons with children and adults alike to tutoring in a tuition school, where I was working with various students at once.
I am a Russian-German bilingual, have been living in the UK for 11 years and currently I am learning Spanish myself, which has been a great experience. I learned a lot being a language student myself while integrating the experience into my own teaching.

Is German easy to learn?
German or Russian is as easy or hard to learn as any language. Everything depends on motivation, languages one knows already and the desire to immerse oneself into Everything-German or Russian related.
Is it difficult to learn German in City of London?
Definitely, as there are a "couple" of Muttersprachler*innen (native speakers) around, so tandem learning is easily arranged. On top of that one has access to German media/literature at the Goethe Institute.Last but not least (extremely important) various German restaurants and cafes are to be found in London. Those support the saying "Liebe geht durch den Magen" (The way to a human's heart goes through their heart) and where there is love, there is love for linguistics:).
Same for Russian students. A couple of Russian restaurants, which I'll happily introduce you to. The Pushkin House is a great place to meet and get in touch with the Russian speaking community. Besides, JW3 has often Russian speaking events for children. Last but not least tandem classes with one of the носителем (Russian for Native Speaker) shouldn't be a problem as there is many facebook groups, where people can connect.
