During our first lesson, we will have a friendly chat about your needs, discuss the reasons why you want to study Russian, and set up your goals. While designing your learning plan, I will also take into consideration your interests and preferred learning style.

During our classes, we will use all kinds of materials, such as textbooks, videos, articles, games, and pictures along with various teaching methods. Besides, I always make sure my students study in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

What is the best way to start speaking a language? Simply to overcome your fear and just do it. However, that’s easier said than done. I am here to do my best to help you gradually start speaking Russian. We will have a chat on various topics if you are an advanced speaker, check out vocabulary, grammar, certain expressions that native speakers use in their daily life. If you are a beginner – don’t worry, we will learn new words and phrases in each lesson, so you can start using them in your speech or during our classes.

I was born in Russia, where I got my first Masters in teaching English and German as a foreign language. After graduation, I moved to South Korea where I studied Korean language and literature and taught Russian and English to Korean students. Then, I moved to China where I taught English and Russian as well. Currently, I am living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world – Cape Town, South Africa.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, especially trying out new recipes from all over the world. I sometimes spend my time watching foreign-language films. At the moment I am learning Afrikaans.
