Private Romanian Tutor in Copenhagen and Online

I am the proud member of a trilingual family in which we all speak English, Romanian and Danish daily.

My mother was my Romanian teacher from the age of 10 to 14 and she made sure I wouldn't forget my grammar to this day.
I was also on an intensive English line from when I was 8, which helped me later get my Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English and IELTS Academic English Certificate.

Life led me to a career of freelancing as a stage technician, but I never lost my interest in languages.

I have traveled to dozens of countries and I've also lived abroad in England, Denmark and Spain. This has given me the opportunity to practice my skills and use my linguistic studies to improve and learn new languages.

For example, I learned the Cyrillic alphabet, basic Swahili, Turkish and Portuguese.

I have had several jobs and activities that involved teaching, tutoring, interpreting, translating, correcting, editing and proofreading.

I have taught English to international groups of adults at beginner and intermediate levels at the International Christian Center in Copenhagen.

I have tutored Romanian children who improved their English, but also international adults who managed to get a good grasp of Romanian and make themselves understood to natives.

My experience as an interpreter taught me to quickly adapt to every individual's level and focus on the general meaning, while ignoring certain mistakes.
On the other hand, translating, correcting and proofreading have taught me how to examine every grammatical structure, phrasing and punctuation.

I therefore consider myself capable of helping my students reach their desired goals by figuring out their specific needs.
