I have been speaking Punjabi from a young age. I have studied Punjabi as my Mother Tongue Language in Singapore. I got A* in my PSLE for Punjabi, A1 in O Levels and A in Punjabi for A Levels as my H1 subject.
I am able to teach reading, writing and speaking. I have taught young students previously. Usually, to learn Punjabi, we start of by learning to write and pronounce the Gurmuki alphabets. Then we move on to laga matra and then forming short words that are easy to catch. Like every other language, learning Punjabi requires practice!
The easiest way to lay out a strong foundation. So the gurmukhi alphabets play a very important role. From there, we move to laga matra which allows students to learn how to write better.
Yes, as long as students have the interest, Punjabi is an easy language.
