I'm a native Portuguese and a student of Portuguese philology with experience as a private tutor. I love bringing my culture to others, so I'd be very happy to help you become better at Portuguese. I believe that exposure to native speakers is the best way to learn any language, and that is especially true with Portuguese since the pronunciation can get tricky sometimes and the grammar is also not the simplest. Apart from the language, I can also teach you many things about Portuguese culture, history, and literature. Although I teach most of my sessions online, we can still meet in person if you reside nearby in Helsinki.

Is Portuguese easy to learn?
Not particularly. Non-romance speakers tend to struggle a bit, especially with pronunciation.
How much time does it take to learn Portuguese in Helsinki?
Finnish and Portuguese are very different from each other. While I cannot determine how long it will take, I would estimate at least 3-4 years. Being exposed to native speakers, in my opinion, is the best way to speed up the process.
