Hello Hola Olá!


My name is Micaela, I'm 27 years old and

I'm here to make you have a good time while learning Portuguese.

I was born in the Azores, Portugal, lived in Lisbon, and moved to London recently. I've been teaching European Portuguese for some time now so I have the experience to guide you and have you accountable making sure you progress.


I understand the different styles of students and how each one learns better.


The lessons can be informal but at the same time structured.

I like to immerse my students in Portuguese culture as much as possible, through music, games, readings, conversations, text comprehension, and grammar exercises.


I grew up in the Azores, Portugal but I lived in Lisbon and London. I have a neutral pronunciation.


I use TPR teaching Techniques and other methodologies.


My bachelor's degree is in fashion design and I'm currently working just as an online tutor. I worked before with digital marketing and graphic design.


I consider myself a polite and fun individual that you would probably enjoy talking X)


I love to work with children as well, so if you have a kid, or more than one, I have the experience and the material for a great kid-friendly lesson.


I have been teaching Portuguese to foreign students online and face-to-face for a while now, so I believe I have the experience and the results to make you achieve your goals.
