I am Erdene from Mongolia and i live in Budapest. I am a structural engineer and language teacher in Mongolian, Turkish and English. I have taught English in Turkey for over 1 and half years and I learnt the way to teach there. I really love teaching and communicating with different people with different backgrounds. Teaching languages gives me an opportunity to enjoy my life and help people to overcome their language barriers. Mongolian is a different language alphabetically and originally. Therefore, it would feel hard at first, but after introduction phase, it becomes very interesting and easy language. Just like Turkish, Mongolian is a sublanguage of Altaic language group with Korean, Japanese and Hungarian. Therefore, structures of sentences are almost the same which makes it easy for those certain people. For non-Altaic language spoken people, i say not to be down about it. Because as you learn Mongolian and Turkish, it becomes easy to learn due to easy rules. Usually it takes average a year to communicate with people without troubles and if you wanna use it academically or on business purpose, you need at least 2 years of good work.
Mongolian is easy language if you practise with someone. For people, who already used or learnt a Cyrillic alphabet, it will be easier. But all language are difficult at first and you just have to bear with it. After sometime of patience, you will get used to it and it will be easy to learn.
Well, nowadays there are many Mongolians live in Budapest and if you have an access to internet which i believe you have, place doesn't matter anymore. So it is easy to learn Mongolian from anywhere.
