I've been teaching the Malay language to professionals and private students. My students came from all over the world (US, Germany, UK, New Zealand, Maldives, India, Australia, Brunei) with all ages, background and culture. My teaching and lesson plan will be made to fit students' goals and aims. I myself love learning languages and know some tips and tricks to learn new languages, I make the learning fun and relaxed yet ! My spoken language is English and Malay, with intermediate level of Mandarin. If Malay language is one of your social barriers, together we will break that barrier!

What is the easiest way to learn Malay in Kuala Lumpur?

The easiest way is to get a tutor in the first place, learning a language without a tutor is less effective. Secondly, learn the vocabulary of current situations and use them slowly to practice in your daily life.

How much time does it take to learn Malay in Kuala Lumpur?

To have the foundation of the Malay language will take approximately 16-18 lessons (24-27hours). If you are a fast learner, then it can be shorter than that. Ideally, learning a language requires consistency, and learners can learn best if the lesson can be done twice a week or three times a week. But if time is your main concern, then once a week is good enough to go slowly yet surely.

I would strongly recommend Ainur to anyone who would like to learn Malay. She personally tailors the lessons to your liking and builds on your strengths while improving your weaknesses. She makes learning fun but at the same time you can tell she is very experienced in teaching. Her teaching and note writing system during the lesson is very helpful.

Ainur has been instrumental in improving my Malay skills. She's great at breaking down concepts, and skilled at explaining the historical meaning behind words which make it easier for them to stick. She's also good at gauging your skills and ramping up the difficulty of the lessons gradually so you feel both challenged but also accomplished. Two months of lessons with Ainur and I have improved much more than the few years of Malay classes I took while in school. Highly recommend!

Ainur is one of the best teachers I've ever had. The teaching method she is using to teach Bahasa Melayu is amazing. You will understand the root of the words and will get familiar with the culture and history behind them and it will help you to learn and not just memorizing. My and wife are taking part in her classes and I can say you should not have any doubt if you want to select her as your teacher if you want to learn this Cantic Bahasa :). Ainur is a great teacher! I had my first few classes with her and I am very satisfied with the lessons, the concept and the way she is teaching me. Her explanations are very clear and besides the actual BM classes, Ainur also always gives some background information about the history of certain words, sayings, etc. Moreover, she also provides the notes and book pages from the lesson after the class, which is really helpful to review the classes on my own. So I can definitely recommend Ainur as a BM teacher and look forward to learn more.
