(Only available for Online lessons) I am aged 33, born and raised a Muganda in Uganda, holding a BSc in Textiles from Kyambogo University. I am a local raised in a Kampala suburb called Nyanama, a few kilometers from the city of Kampala.
I have trained in Luganda all my growing up, and I’m well versed in several of my diction with both reading and writing.
I am of the Ngabi Clan, part of the 52 clans that make the heritage of the Buganda Clan heritage.
Both mother and father are Baganda. My father is a local clan chief named Matovu, representing the Ngabi clan and my mother is a twin named Babirye (the older of the twin set).
It is easy, once you put your mind to it
Learning the basics with the locals. Pay attention to the jargon first like “oli otya” to mean how are you, “nkwagala nnyo” to mean I love you very much, “nsanyuse okukulaba” to mean I am delighted to see you among others.
