Learn Lithuanian with a native speaker in a supportive space

ABOUT ME:

I’m a native Lithuanian speaker with a genuine love for language and literature — Lithuanian was one of my favourite subjects at school, and over time that passion turned into teaching my mother tongue to others.

I’m friendly, patient, and easy to talk to, and I care a lot about creating a comfortable, safe learning space where students feel confident to speak, make mistakes, and ask questions. I believe learning works best when it’s engaging and relaxed, so my lessons often include playful elements and a bit of humour — because progress comes faster when you actually enjoy the process.

I especially enjoy working with beginners and helping people feel at ease with a language that can seem intimidating at first.


EXPERIENCE:

I have around 3 years of experience teaching Lithuanian both online and in person. I mainly work with beginners, guiding them step by step through the basics in a clear and supportive way.

I also help students improve their written Lithuanian, focusing on grammar, punctuation, and overall clarity. I’ve worked with heritage learners who grew up abroad and spoke Lithuanian but didn’t have the chance to formally learn writing rules. Together, we strengthened their written foundations and worked on making their Lithuanian writing more accurate and confident.

My lessons are always adapted to the individual. I adjust the pace, structure, and methods to fit your goals and learning style, whether you’re starting from zero or refining what you already know. Even when things get challenging, I aim to keep lessons encouraging, enjoyable, and motivating, so progress feels achievable and rewarding.
