I have 10 years teaching experience as a lecturer, online teacher. I have graduated Curriculum Pedagogy and Assessment M.A. in UCL, I have applied it to assess student's level and make plans for teaching. I have experience to teach TOPIK, from basic to advance level.

Is Korean easy to learn?
It's up to student's purpose and goal of learning. if learning is just for daily conversation, it will be easy.
From basic level I can say you can learn to pronounce Korean letter after 2 hours learning with me.
Korean letter is connected with sound so it is easier to learn compare with Chinese.
How much time does it take to learn Korean in Singapore?
Always highlight when I got this question that learning language need regular time and effort.
In my teaching experience I can say average learning hours with each level.
Basic level :approx 20-30 hours, can slowly read simple sentences, learn make simple question and answers.
Intermediate level ;approx 30-50 hours, use conversational idiom. can make slightly complicated sentences. can express feeling and opinion.
Advance level: approx 40-60 hours, differentiate to use official , formal and casual. make humour, listen more freely
Topik test: up to student's Korean level.
