Hello, this is Sanga from South Korea. I have been teaching Korean for over 5 years now, and this is your time to learn Korean with a professional Korean teacher—and also a former journalist!

I worked as a journalist in Korea for years, so I know and love the Korean language better than anyone else. With me, you won’t just become fluent in speaking, but you will also develop strong communicative skills.

My major is Korean Literature, which means I have a deep knowledge of Korean grammar, history, and literature. I also hold a professional TESOL Diploma (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and I am scheduled to obtain my official Korean language teaching certificate in February. With this background and experience, you can be confident in my teaching skills.

In our lessons, you will learn Korean reading, speaking, listening, and grammar in a structured and enjoyable way. If you want to focus on a specific skill, just let me know—I will customize the lessons for you.

Sanga is a fantastic and patient teacher. Understands my learning capacity and paces the lessons to my needs. In the beginning I felt so shy to talk but doing it every lesson I understand I have to keep trying and mistakes are ok! If you were contemplating about whether or not to join Sanga for learning Korean, I highly recommend you do so! She's amazing, when I didn't understand something she didn't hesitate to help me through it- and was extremely polite in helping me with the basics that I haven't yet perfected. An amazing teacher! Sanga is really good at pronounciation and ensuring that I could make the sounds before moving on. Learning different words as we went a long was great and helped with the pronounciation and understanding how korean words are arranged. We went at a really good pace as well, not too slow or fast and always ensuring I got it correct/practiced a few times before moving on. Sanga is really friendly and easy to talk to and is wonderful at explaining everything. Can't for our next lesson!

Sanga creates a friendly and safe atmosphere to learn. The lessons are well structured into digestible units, which allows me to retain more Korean. Sanga adapts the lessons to suit my pace while maintaining a balance of writing, listening and speaking tasks. Due to my stutter, I tend to struggle with pronunciation more.
