I generally specialise in teaching Korean grammar and speaking in general and professional conversations regardless of topics. In addition, I have lived overseas for many years in Ireland and Australia. During that time, I taught Korean and Korean culture to countless students. Apart from the teaching experience, I also have experienced transferring from Korean to English for official documents at work in Seoul. Therefore, from the vase experience, I have developed teaching methods to suit the needs of every student I have had the privilege to teach. I suppose learning a foreign language requires courage and considerable patience.

Nonetheless, I have witnessed many of my students surpass the level they aimed for initially. With my guidance, you can undoubtedly be one of them :)

What is the easiest way to learn Korean in Manchester?

I have now taught the Korean language to over 60 students while living in Europe and Australia. This experience has given me the opportunity to develop multiple methods of teaching to suit the needs of all learning styles.
Through teaching many students, I have designed notes which have now been tried, tested and shown to improve the learning quality vastly.
I regularly review and update my materials and methods to ensure my students are satisfied with my approach.

For instance, one of my students from Preply has excelled in speaking, reading and making Korean sentences by herself within three months of learning with me. My approach will lead you to your goal and beyond.

Is Korean easy to learn?

Learning a new language can seem like an impossible task to start alone, especially when that language is not written in your alphabet. But do not be afraid, as I am here to guide you through all the uncertainties.

I believe that speaking and understanding a new language gives you an entirely new life experience, confidence, and countless benefits. There is a Korean saying, "시작이 반이다" which means "well begun is half done." So shall we begin to be half done together? 🙋🏻‍♀️📝

It was my first time getting an actual tutor to help me learn Korean. I was very excited and having Joo is so helpful. She made sure to repeat the same problems until I got them right. Joo is a fantastic tutor, and I feel confident that she can get me to the level of Korean that I'm striving for. She quickly adapted to my knowledge of Korean in our first session, and subsequently the lesson plans have been well structured, utilising an equal amount of speaking practice and grammar study which was important to me when looking for a tutor. Joo is such an incredible tutor! She's helped me grow and expand my vocabulary skills and confidence in my speaking while also challenging me to improve my language comprehension. I feel like after every lesson with her my understanding of Korean grows!
