Hi everyone! My name is Daniel, I'm 26, and I'm a Korean born and raised here :)
I've been teaching Korean professionally for over four years now! Most of my experiences lie around teaching adults who are new to the language but are passionate learners. I prioritize what the student requires, so if there are any specific criteria you want me to focus on, feel free to let me know! Otherwise, if you have any specific goals you aim for, as well as what your current Korean fluency & ability is; please let me know - would be helpful for me to understand your needs best.

Class structure
- Usage of a textbook + workbook as a baseline structure to guide in lessons.
- Aim for having a small quiz after each book is completed.
- Prioritise the usage of these guidelines depending on the desire of the student (i.e. if speaking and listening is more important, parts of the workbook may be omitted)
- Having a structure to follow provides a backbone for improving contextual understanding of using the language, as well as building a sense of acheivment through steady progression.
Specialty
- Beginner friendly, most of my experience lies in teaching adults who are new to the language.
- Conversation expert; helping with needs to improve daily speaking.
- Grammar, lexis, writing, of all levels will be supported and cultivated.
Absolutely! With the right guidance and passion for the language, anyone can learn fast without immense effort.
Languages aren't easy to master, so time and patience is key in honing the skills one learns over time.
For a beginner to learn and understand the basics of Korean, it will take at least 1-2 years.
