My name is Nao, and I’m from Hokkaido, Japan ❄️🌸.
I’ve been teaching Japanese for about 2 years, and I’ve taught students of all ages, from kids 👦👧 to adults 👩👨.

I grew up in a family where my father was very strict about Japanese 📝, so I developed a strong foundation early on. Later, at university 🎓, I studied clinical psychology 🧠 and even wrote academic papers, which gave me confidence not only in my Japanese skills 🇯🇵 but also in explaining things clearly.

I also speak German 🇩🇪, so if you’re a German speaker, I can help you understand Japanese even more easily.

My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and tailored to your needs 😄. Whether you want to improve conversation 💬, study grammar 📚, or feel more confident in daily situations 🌟, I’ll make sure learning feels fun and natural 🎶🌱.

In my free time, I enjoy Japanese traditional dance 💃, kimono dressing 👘, singing anime and idol songs at karaoke 🎤🎶, and exploring Japanese antiques (wakōtto) 🏺. Of course, I also love Japanese food 🍣🍜🍡. I love bringing this cultural side of Japan into my lessons, so we can have fun while learning! 🎌✨
