I can teach classical Japanese, academic Japanese, explanations of common mistakes made even by native Japanese teachers, and the proper usage of sophisticated expressions—things that many Japanese teachers (both native and non-native speakers) often cannot fully explain. I offer instruction in grammar, vocabulary, conversation, and writing at a level beyond the JLPT N1, tackling truly advanced Japanese.
Being a native Japanese speaker doesn’t automatically mean someone can teach Japanese well!
Below, you will find my background and qualifications.
I have a certification. (passed Japanese Language Teaching Competency test)
I graduated from Waseda University and its graduate school (my name was on the Dean's List), which is one of the most prestigious universities in Japan. Tokyo is the capital of Japan and the number of people who speak English is the largest in Japan, so you can, if you like, live with little Japanese. There are many signs written in English wherever you go in Tokyo, so you can lead most of your life in English.
Under the circumstances, learning Japanese in Tokyo is not always that easy. However, Tokyo is an international city and some Japanese people show more understanding towards foreign people and their cultures, so if you are lucky, you may be able to make good Japanese friends here, then you can learn from them various things about Japan and indeed Japanese languages itself. If things work out in this way, you can learn Japanese more easily in Tokyo.
Yes. When it comes to speaking Japanese, it is easy to learn because pronunciation is almost always phonetic and you can pronounce words as they are written
