Hi everyone! My name is Miyu. I was born and raised in Japan. I graduated from a university in New York and am currently working in advertising and production as a freelance. I stayed in New York for about five years, and this is where I improved my English. While studying in New York, I discovered my passion for teaching by starting my own Japanese class at the university. This experience made me realize how much I enjoy teaching!

After returning to Japan, I also taught English to children for another two years. I have experience teaching Japanese in English, so I am comfortable using English to teach students from various countries and at different Japanese proficiency levels.
Currently, I live in Kamakura with my family, so would love to have a session in the town such as at beach/ temples/ shrines etc.
With a diverse background in teaching both English and Japanese to individuals of various ages, I bring a wealth of experience to the table. I’m excited to help you on your journey to mastering Japanese!
