Hi! I'm Elaine, a Malaysian tutor offering Japanese and Mandarin lessons, as well as casual Cantonese conversation practice.

I've been teaching since 2021 and have taught over 40 students, including children, teenagers, and adults.
My lessons are adjusted to each student's level, learning pace, and goals. Besides textbooks, I also use my own worksheets, visual materials, games, and interactive online practice when suitable. If a student is struggling with a particular area, I can prepare extra practice to help them review it.

📚 Japanese & Mandarin
Online: RM90/hour
Face-to-face: From RM100/hour + transportation fee

Suitable for children (age 8+), teenagers, and adults, including complete beginners.

Lessons can focus on:
• Beginner learning
• Everyday conversation
• Vocabulary, grammar & sentence building
• Reading & comprehension
• Speaking confidence
• Japanese JLPT N5–N3 preparation
• School-related Mandarin support
• Individual learning goals

For children, I usually include more visual and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging while still building a good foundation.

For learners who can already understand, read, or write some Mandarin but are less confident speaking, lessons can also focus more on conversation and encouraging them to use what they already know.

For beginners, I usually recommend one lesson per week to build a consistent learning routine.

🗣️ Casual Cantonese Conversation
RM60/hour
For learners who want to practise everyday Cantonese speaking in a relaxed setting and become more comfortable using the language.

This rate applies to casual Cantonese conversation only, not Japanese or Mandarin lessons.

🕒 Online Availability
Monday: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Friday: Upon request
Saturday: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Other time slots may occasionally be available.

📍 Face-to-Face Lessons
Available at selected locations including Sri Petaling / OUG, Mid Valley / Pearl Point, Puchong, and Shah Alam (Seksyen 26).
Rates start from RM100/hour + transportation fee and vary depending on location.
